77B George St, Edinburgh EH2 3EE
We visited Cafe Andaluz when our baby was only a couple of weeks old. We were looking for a place where we could enjoy a nice lunch but also where I would feel comfortable breast feeding her. The waiter that welcomed us let us pick whichever table suited us best so we picked a booth table beside the from window. It was very spacious and felt semi-private so I was comfortable feeding Grace while we were having our lunch. A number of other parents with prams arrived during our visit so its obviously a big hit with families for a tasty lunch spot.

Buggy Space: 4/5
Depending on how busy the restaurant is, there are a number of tables where a buggy can be easily accommodated beside the table. Staff were incredibly helpful, allowing us to pick a table of our choice to best suit us. There are a couple of steps into the main door where there is a small number of tables available on the first level. There are then a few steps up to the main restaurant but it is serviced by a wheelchair lift which staff were happy for guests with buggies to use to access this level with their buggy.
Children's amenities: 3/5
We visited on a weekday lunch so it was very quiet. The staff were very happy to accommodate buggies and we noticed a number of other families dining at the same time. The tapas style menu is great for the whole family to share, but there is also a children's menu available. There are no toys or play areas in this restaurant.
Changing Facilities: 3/5
There are dedicated baby changing facilities on the ground floor which were easy to find and clean.
Transport Connections: 4/5
There is no parking for Cafe Andaluz, however there is pay and display parking on George Street and around central Edinburgh.
The restaurant is well connected with busses, easily accessible in a few minutes walk from Princes Street.
