I popped into Soderberg to meet a friend and her baby for a coffee and light lunch. Soderberg have a few venues across Edinburgh and I'm looking forward to visiting some of their other locations that are more spacious in the future. This cafe in Morningside is one of their smaller locations, however we were able to get seats on the end of a long bench table and fit both prams in beside us. The door is wide but fairly heavy to open with a small ramped step to get in with a buggy. The staff were welcoming, but recommend to visit when its a bit quieter if you need space for a buggy.

The Morningside branch of soderberg is quite compact. We were lucky on our visit it was quiet so we fit in our prams but on most days its a fairly busy cafe so there may not always be space.
Children's amenities: 4/5
The cafe doesn't offer any children specific menu items as its mostly pastries and light bites. However there are high chairs available and the staff were very welcoming to babies and families in the cafe.
Changing Facilities: 4/5
The changing facilities are located at the back of the cafe in the toilets. They were spacious enough to get the pram into if you needed to bring it with you.
Location & Transport Connections: 4/5
Soderberg Morningside is located on Morningside high street. Its not super close for any outside play areas but great if you're looking for a place to pop in and meet a friend for a quick coffee.
There is no car parking but pay and display parking is available on the surrounding streets. Morningside high street is well served with busses, the stop right outside serves 5, 11, 15, 16, 23, and 36.
